First up, AFL news! I apologize to
Which brings us to our next subject, life badness. It's been a very rough month for me on a personal and financial level. I finally paid off some old debts, was forced to defer my student loans for another year, am moving in with my girlfriend on the first of October (and I am very excited about it, but moving is always costly), am still waiting for reimbursement from the insurance company for a simple (yet expensive) medical procedure I had done, have had available hours cutback at my current job, have interviewed for two fulltime positions within my company and gotten neither of them, and through it all have not yet managed to pay the internet bill.
So, it's been a little rocky. The goods news is I do have a figure drawing class at the Art Institute of Chicago that I begin on September 8th! I am super excited about it, and I hope to continue taking classes in the city and improving my artwork. And I really want to share what I do with all of you long time and recent watchers. I always appreciate all of your views, favorites, critiques, and comments. It may sound slightly needy or attention-craving, and maybe it is, but all of your words definitely have helped me to continue on my journey to become a better artist.
All of that said, it's a tight belt kinda time in life, and I don't want to do stop doing artwork, so I have finally allowed myself to start taking commissions. Although I don't expect a huge number of them, I still thought I would offer a promotional rate throught the end of September. Everything helps.
So commission info is as follows.
Those who order will recieve a high resolution scan of their artwork, as well as the original sent to them in the mail. For those ordering from within the United States, there will be no shipping costs. For those ordering from outside the U.S., there will be a $3-10 fee, depending on where you are ordering from.
As for the artwork itself, prices (through the end of September) are as follows:

If you have existing screenshots, sketches, or descriptions of your character, it would definitely help to send those along.
For more complex backgrounds, additional characters, and/or villains in groups, please note me, and we can discuss price adjustments. I assure you they will be very reasonable.
If you are interested in a commission, please note me. I will respond as promptly as possible. I accept payment as either PayPal or personal check. For those using PayPal, I will require that have the cost of your commission be recieved before I begin work on the project. For those sending personal check, I will require the full cost of the commission before beginning.
Again, thank you to all of you who've checked out my artwork during the time I've been on DA here, and thank you for reading through this journal. If you don't have the money to commission me but like what you see and might like to help out, feel free to send friends my way.
